Cash Back Dine Out or Eat In Terms and Conditions:

Cash Back Promotion Terms and Conditions apply to your participation in Cash Back Promotion (“Promotion”). For simplicity, we refer to ourselves (i.e., BankMobile) as “we,” “our,” “us,” or the “Promotion” in this document. We refer to you as “you” or “your.” The Promotion is a service supported by BankMobile (“Sponsor”). Participation in the Promotion is exclusive to those who have received an invitation to join.

By participating in this Promotion, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”).

The Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Promotion or portions thereof at any time, without prior notice, or other restriction or penalty. This means that regardless of your level of activity in the Promotion, the ability to accumulate cash back can be terminated with or without prior notice.


How You Earn Cash Rewards:

Eligible account holders have been selected to participate in the Cash Back Promotion. Between December 23 and December 30, account holders have the option to choose between earning 1% cash back dining out or 1% eating in.

To activate your 1% cash back:

Log in to your account on a desktop.

Select your cash back preference on the activation screen.

Use your BankMobile Debit Mastercard® card to make qualifying purchases at any participating merchants and earn cash back!

Earn cash back rewards when you use your BankMobile Debit Mastercard® card for dining purchases between December 23 and December 30, minus returns, credits, and adjustments (“Qualifying Purchases”).

1% Eat In or Dine Out Cash Back Rewards Category:

Earn a total of 1% cash back (equal to $0.01) for every $1 of Qualifying Purchases made at eligible meal delivery services in the United States (e.g. Door Dash, Uber Eats, Seamless and more) and eligible restaurants located in the United States (e.g. McDonalds, Subway, Domino’s, Olive Garden and more).  Purchases made with Uber Eats must include “UBER EATS” in the transaction description to be eligible for rewards.  Excluded from this Category are caterers. Additional exclusions may apply. Listed merchants are in no way sponsoring or affiliated with this program.

Cash Back Category Processing:

Merchants are assigned a merchant category code (MCC) based on the merchant’s primary line of business. We do not determine which MCC a merchant chooses to classify itself. We group similar MCCs into categories to help you earn cash back on purchases made at specific merchants. Your purchase may not qualify to receive the cash back earn rate if the merchant does not process transactions under the MCC that corresponds with the cash back Category, or your purchase is processed through a third-party payment account, mobile/wireless card reader, digital wallet not supported by BankMobile (e.g. Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay) or similar technology where the technology does not support transmission of MCCs.

Rewards Expiration:

As long as your account remains in good standing, cash back rewards do not expire.

Rewards Forfeiture:

If the owner of the account voluntarily closes the account, or if for any reason we close the account, any cash back rewards associated with the account are subject to immediate forfeiture, unless specifically authorized by us.

Returning and Rescinding Rewards:

In our sole discretion, we may deduct cash back from your BankMobile Vibe Checking Account, Vibe Up Checking Account or Interest Bearing Checking Account in order to make adjustments for returns and cancellations with respect to Qualifying Purchases. In the event that you were awarded cash back from a Qualifying Purchase and subsequently reverse the transaction that generated such cash back whether or not you are still participating in the Promotion, you will remain solely responsible for the repayment of the cash back credited from such purchase.

Cash Back Fulfillment:

Cash back you accrue as a result of Qualifying Purchases will be posted to your eligible BankMobile Vibe Checking Account, Vibe Up Checking Account or Interest Bearing Checking Account by January 9, 2020. Account must be open and in good standing at time of fulfillment to receive cash back credit. We will not be liable for damages resulting from any failure to post cash back to your account in a timely manner. The total cash back credit for this promotional period will be limited to a maximum of $5 per account holder. You acknowledge and accept that you are solely responsible for checking your account to verify that cash back has been properly posted. If you believe that cash back has not been properly posted to your account, then you must inform us within 90 days of the Qualifying Purchase for which you are claiming that cash back should have been posted and must be able to provide proof of such transaction acceptable to the Promotion. The Promotion reserves the right, however, to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether cash back should have been posted to your account. You acknowledge that any such determination by the Promotion will be final and binding. The value of this reward may constitute taxable income to you.

This promotion is only available to customers who have received this communication from BankMobile and is not transferable. Employees, officers, and representatives of Customers Bank and their parent and affiliate companies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee, are not eligible.
