How You Earn Cash Rewards:
Earn cash back rewards when you use your BankMobile Vibe Debit Mastercard card to make purchases for personal, family, or household use between February 20, 2019, and May 28, 2019, minus returns, credits, and adjustments (“Net Purchases”). The following transactions are not considered Net Purchases and will not earn cash rewards: Fees, fraudulent transactions, bill payments, purchases for business purposes, point-of-sale transactions that are not made at eligible merchants and certain other charges.
1% Gas Cash Rewards Category
Earn a total of 1% cash back (equal to $0.01) for every $1 of Net Purchases made at eligible gas stations located in the United States (e.g. Shell, 7-Eleven, Chevron, ExxonMobil, BP, and more). This only includes merchants whose primary line of business is the sale of automotive gasoline that can be purchased inside the service station or at the automated fuel pump. Excluded from this Category are purchases made at merchants whose primary line of business is not the sale of automotive gasoline or fuel, like superstores, supermarkets and truck stops and gasoline purchased at boat marinas, as well as fuel dealers whose primary line of business is the sale of heating oil, propane and other fuels, such as kerosene. Additional exclusions may apply.
1% Grocery Cash Rewards Category
Earn a total of 1% cash back (equal to $0.01) for every $1 of Net Purchases made at eligible grocery store merchants located in the United States (e.g. Kroger, H-E-B, Safeway, Walmart Supercenter, Meijer, and more). Excluded from this Category are most superstores (e.g. Target and Walmart) wholesale clubs (e.g. Costco), freezer/meat lockers, candy, nut or confection stores, dairy product stores, bakeries and smaller stores (like drugstores and convenience stores) that sell groceries and other products. Additional exclusions may apply.
Cash Back Category Processing:
Merchants are assigned a merchant category code (MCC) based on the merchant’s primary line of business. We do not determine which MCC a merchant chooses to classify itself. We group similar MCCs into categories to help you earn cash back on purchases made at specific merchants. Your purchase may not qualify to receive the cashback earn rate if the merchant does not process transactions under the MCC that corresponds with the Cash Back Category, or your purchase is processed through a third-party payment account, mobile/wireless card reader, digital wallet not supported by BankMobile (e.g. Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay) or similar technology where the technology does not support transmission of MCCs.
As long as your account remains in good standing, cash back rewards do not expire.
If the owner of the account voluntarily closes the account, or if for any reason we close the account, any cash back rewards associated with the account are subject to immediate forfeiture, unless specifically authorized by us.
Returning and Rescinding Rewards:
In our sole discretion, we may deduct cash back from your BankMobile Vibe Checking Account or Interest Bearing Checking Account in order to make adjustments for returns and cancellations with respect to Qualifying Purchases. In the event that you were awarded cash back from a Qualifying Purchase and subsequently reverse the transaction that generated such cash back whether or not you are still participating in the Promotion, you will remain solely responsible for the repayment of the cash back credited from such purchase.
Cash Back Fulfillment:
Cashback you accrue as a result of Qualifying Purchases will be posted to your eligible BankMobile Vibe Checking Account or Interest Bearing Checking Account by March 7th for Qualifying Purchases made from February 20, 2019 to February 28th, 2019, by April 5th for Qualifying Purchases made from March 1, 2019 to March 31, 2019, by May 7th for Qualifying Purchases made from April 1, 2019 to April 30, 2019, and by June 4th for Qualifying Purchases made from May 1, 2019 to May 28, 2019. Account must be open and in good standing at time of fulfillment to receive cash back credit. We will not be liable for damages resulting from any failure to post cash back to your account in a timely manner. You acknowledge and accept that you are solely responsible for checking your account to verify that cash back has been properly posted. If you believe that cash back has not been properly posted to your account, then you must inform us within 90 days of the Qualifying Purchase for which you are claiming that cash back should have been posted and must be able to provide proof of such transaction acceptable to the Promotion. The Promotion reserves the right, however, to determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, whether cash back should have been posted to your account. You acknowledge that any such determination by the Promotion will be final and binding. The value of this reward may constitute taxable income to you.
